so after A Thing of Beauty, i struggled for a few days with the fact that the series hit its perfect endpoint and the fact that i don't know how to leave well enough alone and wanted to continue
i had the idea to finally follow up that alien invasion from whichever thing that was
then i decided: i needed to show and not tell
i've been saying Jezzie always comes back violently, but i've never shown it
so i decided to write a three-part ATOTP series featuring aliens, a new Hellection, and Jezzie's bloody coup
i am nothing if not ambitious to a fault (except in real life)

echidna and gravella both dying was not planned, but it was more interesting than just having echidna win
the third part wasn't great to be honest
it turned into one of those checklists and i'm simply not good at those, which is why i stopped trying to script endings so much
ah well parts one and especially two are really good and three has some moments; i'm happy with it
