The Spark That Bled is pretty sweet. Other than that, however, the songs are just pretty good.
The Observer and Sleeping on the Roof are just filler, though.

I gave Diary a 4.5, and self-titled albums are retarded to try and download, so here we are.
Unfortunately, the only standout track here is Guitar and Videogames.

17 Dec 2012: "Workingman's Dead" by Grateful Dead
Like, half of this album has been added to Rock Band over the years. And by that, I mean two songs.
This album is very average. It's almost like these guys were phoning it in. All this album has going for it is Casey Jones.

18 Dec 2012: "Modern Artillery" by The Living End
Bottom of the barrel, consider yourself scraped.
I'm not going to dance around this: I really like End of the World.
The rest of the album is surprisingly good. These guys are certainly in my top five Australian bands.

The first three tracks are the weakest on the album, which is one of the worst things you can do.
This album is pretty good otherwise, though.

This album is odd, because it doesn't have Eddie Money's song on it. A bold move.
It kind of pays off, because it's actually an okay album.

Geddy Lee's voice is, like, super-annoying.
However, YYZ is great. Fucking love YYZ.
Limelight as also pretty good.
I actually kind of like this. The songs where Geddy isn't going all high and shit are pretty good.
Fuck Tom Sawyer, though.
So, I listened to and actually liked a Rush album.
The Mayans were right.

Meat Loaf?! More like Neat Loaf.
The best songs are the long ones, which makes Meat Loaf super-atypical. EVEN THOUGH PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT ISN'T THAT GREAT UNTIL THE SECOND PART
I honestly don't know how to rate this album. Let me sleep on it.

I have heard so many nondescript good things about this album, and blindly following recommendations always works well for me.
The title track is the best song on the album. It's ten minutes and everything.
This album is actually pretty good. Good job, /mu/.

This sounds nothing like On Avery Island or In The Aeroplane Over the Sea. It instead sounds like that boring shit Yellow listens to.
And the last track, Aunt Eggma Blowtorch, is trying way too hard to be Revolution 9.

25 Dec 2012: "Bran & Friends II" by Bran & Friends
Happy Hanukkah.
Wrathguy is much better than I'd remembered.
Magical Lyrical Punch Chan Desu Kun wouldn't be nearly as amazing if not for the stupid accents. I'm pretty sure I suggested those.
Rainy Day Chickens drags on for far too long. Six minutes too long.
'ey Tony sounds really cheesy. I like it.
But then we get to 27 Club, which is tied for the best song on the album with The Hanukkah Road Medley. But more on that in a minute.
My favourite part of 27 Club is the line "what up dog".
The unplugged version of La Blade is pretty good. Not as good as the original, but any song I had a hand in writing must be great, right?
Five Words has come a long way. I doubted its potential as a Bran & Friends song, and I was wrong. Oops.
Then The Hanukkah Road Medley happens. And it happens to be the single best song Bran and/or Friends have ever recorded.
Shame the album isn't as good as Self-Titled.

/mu/ is about to lead me into an album I hate again, I just know it.
where's the singing
Every song sounds exactly the fucking same. It's like I'm trapped in an elevator.
Fuck this.

27 Dec 2012: "The Allman Brothers Band" by The Allman Brothers Band
This album went by really quickly. I enjoyed it a lot, actually.
Dreams has a section that reminds me of Jessica. BUT IT WAS BEFORE JESSICA SO IT'S LIKE THEY RIPPED THEMSELVES OFF
But the biggest highlight is, of course, Whipping Post. Definitely the best song of theirs I've heard.

28 Dec 2012: "Since I Left You" by The Avalanches
Both /mu/ and Yellow vouch for this album. I am prepared to hate it.
This one chick who keeps saying "since I left you" makes me want to kill myself.
Nearly everything about this album is extremely annoying. Good job, guys.
I absolutely hate this.

29 Dec 2012: "Light Grenades" by Incubus
I wanted something mediocre.
For my not-money, Incubus are perfect for when I want something inoffensive. 3s for everybody.

30 Dec 2012: "Frontiers" by Journey
This is the one with Separate Ways. Nothing else on the album approaches its quality, but it's a pretty good album regardless.
