| Didn't even see that edit
Activision repurposing OGHF 2.0 into a COD forum was pretty much the greatest thing they could have done. Better than the brutal murders of both GHG and OGHF 1.0.
Man, I didn't even like OGHF very much and I still miss it (and NikkiLove). Maybe I'll make a trip to it in the Wayback Machine later. |

| OGHF was cool. Especially considering how a fair bunch of the GHG folk were hopped up on a sense of our own self-importance which after a while it seemed like Nikki and the Agoras just started to let slide.
What a time to be alive. |

| this is all great
speaking of OGHF, remember how I had like 1500 posts or something relatively small at the time and they dedicated a thread to me simply because I was from the old forum? I'd look it up, but for the life of me I can't remember the URL to the site. That was a fun time, met a lot of cool people there too. Navy, Blade, Axl, Jenna...I think I ended up with over 2000 posts, way more than GHG.
I had such small presence on GHG, I think all of my posts were basically some form of "Boston is good." I was a lurker to the core. |

| You and Shredd are the only ones from Teh Forum that I couldn't find any posts from. This is a bit odd, since according to this thread, you both had more posts than Peewee. Right place at the right time, I suppose. To be honest, I'm surprised that you even joined UGHF/Teh Forum considering. The most pleasant of surprises, naturally. My memories of OGHF are a bit more fuzzy, apart from slashkiller and the TCF Xat. I remember Brucie had the most posts of anyone, but that's about it. I think that before the great OGHF purge, I had around 3,000 posts. Most of them were probably calling people retarded or something. I have absolutely no clue why I didn't get banned, because I really deserved it. All of Highscore's accounts were more pressing, I suppose. also how have i got 5,500 posts here holy shit that's 2,000 more than i had on teh forum better than my 6,951 posts on ghg that all said variations of nothing like look at this shit: 01: Jakey (GHG): 6,951 02: Jakey (Progress): 5,50703: Tony (GHG): 5,097 04: Eif (GHG): 4,930 05: Sevin (GHG): 3,562 06: Jakey (Teh Forum): 3,529 07: MrHighScore (GHG): 2,325 08: Eif (Teh Forum): 2,256 08: Bran (Teh Forum): 2,054 10: Shredd (Teh Forum): 1,873 11: Rawk (GHG): 1,389 12: Svart (GHG): 1,353 13: (GHG): 1,257 14: Flaaffy (GHG): 1,225 15: Cow (GHG): 1,219 16: Svart (Teh Forum): 1,183 17: Cow (Teh Forum): 1,117 18: Peewee (Teh Forum): 1,060 19: Giggle Man (Teh Forum): 1,020 20: Shredd (Progress): 1,016FOR FUCK'S SAKE BETWEEN ALL THREE FORUMS I HAVE 15,987 POSTS |

| Well, I had many experiences with Tony in Off Topic, and you and Eifion had such massive presence on GHG I thought a place with all three of you was pretty great. I remember knowing who RAWK and Svartingr were too before moving, I think Svartingr was the one that eventually pushed me there to begin with. But I do remember no body knowing who I was when I joined and being too afraid to say anything in chatbox the first time I went in also who in the world is flaaffy |

| Pokémon #180 hell if i know
I'm not sure I knew who Svart was before UGHF, honestly. He joined in 2006, so I sort of lumped him in with all the GHG oldfags who hated me for perfectly legitimate reasons, looking back.
Tony was kind of unavoidable, no matter where you went. He had a lot to talk about, I suppose. I honestly don't remember posting much outside of the GH3 setlists forum, but I'm probably wrong.
I really wish I could-WAIT A SECOND http://web.archive.org/web/20070728114748/http://guitarherogameforum2.forumotion.com/index.htm
Eif join date: 19 Jul 2007 Jakey join date: 19 Jul 2007 Tony join date: 18 Jul 2007 Svart join date: 21 Jul 2007 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... once again I cannot find a SINGLE ONE of your posts. Well, at least not one they have archived to see your join date.
I remember 100% that I got Eif to go there. I got the admin position pretty quickly (I think Tony gave it to me), then Eif right after (not by my hand), and he installed the Chatbox. So let's call that around the 20th. So all this means that you didn't join until the 22nd? 23rd? Were you there for Christmas?
I'm honestly surprised you kept up with us after all the drama from that point.
also no one told me i had the opening lyric to wrathchild wrong in my location i am so ashamed

| I found the drama pretty fun. You guys had some neat ole charisma
Also, in that link, I'm a moderator of a few forums. I think I got admin'd fairly soon after joining (might have still been about a month)
EDIT: Yeah, clicking into august with the wayback machine, I got my own general store thing and am an Admin, neat
EDIT2: Had to go to november to find a working link but: http://web.archive.org/web/20070922062726/http://guitarherogameforum2.forumotion.com/Jinzo-s-General-Store-f25/Jinzo-s-Interesting-Facts-Thread-t834.htm I joined Jul 19, 2007 wowowow I guess that means Svart did NOT push me to join, cool |

| Rawk made the forum late at night the day before we joined, so we all joined at about the earliest possible time, which is neat.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I had been as I am now during all of this. I mean, we wouldn't still be on Rawk's forum, since I know that when he said "don't swear ever or I'll ban you", I'd have said "fuck that" to be funny, but you know Maybe after that I'd make a new account that is a horrific Jewish stereotype for kicks
But that's beside the point; here have this http://web.archive.org/web/20080913100827/http://community.guitarhero.com/forum/18
I see the interview with you as a sticky, but they didn't save it. Aw nuts. And I put in the link to drum hero list for and breand new guitar heroes 4 set and it didn't work fuck this OGHF even sucks in retrospect |

| I remember signing up on GHG in January '07 but never got posting until after Jake/Eif/etc were all established posters already. I couldn't find much from myself on there either but I mostly hung out in Off-Topic I think. Couldn't put a date to when I was posting most, but I think the majority of my posts came in a 1-2 month period.
I had Eif on MSN and that was how I found UGHF/Teh Forum, fired him a spontaneous message a few months after GHG shut down. In hindsight, super-glad that I did.
Flaafy might be Flawful or whatever his name was. |

| daaaaaaaaaaang, and there's 49 comments on it? I don't remember people actually caring
i just remember the really bad picture I took for the interview. I had to set timers and retake them endlessly in my bedroom.
Looking back, the more I read old posts by me, the more I'm convinced I haven't really changed that much. I'm a little more dark in my humor now I guess, not to mention I was a massive pushover back in the day (still a bit of pushover but not as much). I think I would have had a lot of fun in my current mindset back then. |

| Most of us would. Probably not Eif. I think that if the three of us went back to do it again, we might be able to keep Tony from leaving. I think it was mostly me that drove him off anyway. Though the female vocalist elimination game couldn't have helped Bran's probably the one who has changed the least, yeah. I think that's because you had two or three years on the rest of us, though. Out of everyone, you seemed to be the one who had it together. Most of us were kids, Svart seemed to be going insane at points (but who could blame him), and you seemed to just know what to say and do when I really didn't. I didn't get my shit together until I was 16, which was how old you were when this all started, so it makes total sense, I think. |

| Svart's insanity Funny fact, he's probably just as insane these days. I think he's less emo about not having a girlfriend (outwardly), but still just as depressed at the world. Eif, what a guy. He's definitely mellowed out, I think his almost spastic personality was a main driver of the collective teh forum humor. I bet he is the one that cringes most looking back at things. I really wish i just had more general music knowledge back then. Half the music references that were made were way over my head at the time. I also have never really like 80s metal, and I think 90% of all references drew from it |
