Super Smash Bros. Kerfuffle

Today was the release of Yoshi's New Island in North America and Europe. Naturally, we got a new stage that has nothing to do with Yoshi. I assume he's being held back for the Japanese release date, but who knows when that is?

Sakurai says it will be worth the wait. I bet we'll get at least one newcomer, a few returning veterans, and some new stages and items.

So, uh, shit. I don't know where to begin.

The 3DS version comes out this summer, and the Wii U version comes out this winter. I thought it would have been the opposite, but whatever. Again, they have the same roster of fighters, but the stages are completely different.
Both versions run at 60 FPS.

Online mode is present in both, and you can do whatever you want with friends. With strangers, there are two modes. One is random stage, all items on. The other is Fox only, no items, Final Destination. Final Destination itself can transform into any other stage, but a flat version with no hazards.

Speaking of hazards, Ridley is one. Go fuck yourself, half of /v/. I knew it, you didn't.

Characters will no longer be able to transform mid-battle. Zero Suit Samus, Sheik, and Charizard have been confirmed as their own characters. Ivysaur and Squirtle's statuses are unknown.
Sheik has been given a grenade and something I don't really understand how it works. Zelda can now use that phantom armour thing. Samus's Zero Laser now just lasers, and doesn't transform her. ZSS has ROCKET SHOES
Lucario and Charizard can both transform into their MEGA forms somehow.

Yoshi has also been confirmed to return, and a new newcomer has been revealed. It is Greninja, from Pokémon X/Y.

I'd agree. Ivysaur was the best. I hope that by making him his own character, Charizard becomes more fun to play.
