Consistently pretty good.
It's on-par with Holy Diver, despite only having one amazing song (My Eyes), because of sheer consistency. Just like Dream Evil.

21 Oct 2012: "52nd Street" by Billy Joel
Also known as the one with Dancing on it
My problem with Billy Joel is that he never seems to care very much. It's just "hey look at me i'm singing a song".
Even in Dancing, he sings "go ahead with your own life; leave me alone" as though he were very bored.
At least he goes for it on Zanzibar and Stiletto.
Okay, so Dancing may have a bored-sounding Billy Joel, but Zanzibar, Stiletto, and Half a Mile Away make up for it.
By the way, I don't think Big Shot is as good as everyone makes it out to be. Nor Until the Night, for that matter.
Still the best Billy Joel album I've heard.

The album opens with a Foreigner song. I like Foreigner songs. I think I'd like Bad Company more if they were Foreigner.
But, hey. You're probably here for Feel Like Makin' Love or Shooting Star. Both of which are VERY GOOD
But Good Lovin' Gone Bad and Deal with the Preacher are better than at least one of those.
Sophomore slump? Bad Company have never heard of it.

I grade on a curve, it's no secret. My vague superlative ratings are nothing but bullshit. It's only really useful for comparing tracks on the same album.
This album, for example, is creatively bankrupt, but I'm still rating it with superlatives. Because fuck everything.
Correction:
The first third of this album is creatively bankrupt.
The second third is just awful.
The final third is creatively bankrupt and awful.

23 Oct 2012: "House of Gold and Bones Part One" by Stone Sour
NEW RELEASES
This album is more like the debut than their other albums. Probably because no one but me liked Audio Secrecy.
However, I'd say this is on-par with Come Whatever May, and in contention for their best album.
This album is another great candidate for album of the year. Shame Swing lo Magellan is better.

Overall, the album is decent.

24 Oct 2012: "X&Y" by Coldplay
Consistent as FUCK.
It's not adventurous or innovative or anything, but sometimes you just want some nice, simple music. This works extremely well for that.
Hell, I'm giving it a 4/5.
Bonus track's awful, though.

BONUS REVIEW: "Into the Now" by Tesla

This album came out in 2004. There is a song on it about 9/11. It also has a song called "Look at Me". This is too easy.
Of course, like many glam metal bands after the fall of the genre, Tesla have decided to become a HARD ROCK BAND. Luckily, they're not as bad as the average glam metal-turned-hard rock band.
The title track is what happens when an '80s band enjoys an Alice in Chains album.
Eh.

Why not?
Despite being panned, this album still had a couple of songs make it to the greatest hits. Though, I guess getting onto Quiet Riot's greatest hits isn't that big of an accomplishment.
Most of the cheesy '80s staples are here.
