Recently, the videogame company Neversoft, creators of the Tony Hawk series and main shareholder in the Guitar Hero franchise, have purchased Abbey Road studios. The legendary studio has been used by legendary bands, the most prevelant of which is The Beatles, who used the crosswalk outside the studio to shoot their Abbey Road album cover.
The executive of Neversoft had this to say: "After spending the $165 million to purchase the Abbey Road studios, we have decided to level the original building and put in an arcade, where civians will get to play Guitar Hero: Arcade. A place that has done so much for the history of rock and roll should be re-imagined as a place to buy the most popular rock and roll simulator in the world."
When asked about how his company has been destroying all precious childhood memories, the executive produced a box containing the interviewer's childhood pet, Flopsie, and walked away.
