the album cuts to the chase immediately, which would have been important in the vinyl era
especially because the rest of it sucks

Deep Purple Mk VIII is over, as Steve Morse has left the band (did you know that morse was in the band for longer than blackmore was?)
replaced with "Simon McBride", we are now at Deep Purple Mk IX
i wish gillan had left too because his voice has gone to hell

i choose to interpret the album's title as an unimpressed face rather than "equals one"
it's more fitting
(actually on the cover the mouth is slightly curved downward, as if it's slightly unhappy, which is even more fitting)

about a week ago, jack white out of nowhere put out this album but with a stupid catch
vinyl-only, only available at third man records stores
funny that this album features his most straightforward rock music in twenty years when the release method was incredibly pretentious and self-indulgent

track 5 is jack white's best song in YEARS, and track 6 might be even better
basically, jack white released a 10/10 album in the worst way possible
his best album since fucking white blood cells
