elephant in the room:
i never intended to revive sophia
i planned on her staying dead because it would be the "woah there are totally consequences" moment that would be cheapened if she came back outside of prequels or whatever
then i brought ressie back from her trip more powerful than ever, and her powerset would have made keeping her dead ridiculous
i wrote myself into a corner really


let's talk about elves
so i had this concept for an elf girl sitting on my computer for fucking ever
i'm talking since before jezzie

her name was molly short for molyndre and that's all i had
then on 28 april i got the idea for a dark elf as well
then when i was looking at names i saw 'holly' and thought 'that doesn't work'
so i swapped the names of the elves

the reason i didn't put in the regular elf sooner is because i didn't want to write about dumb regular elf shit
so then when i came up with the idea to make the dark elf the main character and the regular elf the non-main character, it just clicked

also i like the way i handled the retcon of the twilit forest's existence
so much that i did it a second time

ONE THING TO REMEMBER
is that i use the realigned zodiac that no one else uses
so if any of my zodiac periods are off, it is intentional

jezzie doesn't have a last name; she just made up "jezzerson"


so uh the name
this didn't have a name until it was already 106 missions in
all my files said "untitled thing 14"
then i was looking at this word document and i saw the big all-caps "ONE THING TO REMEMBER"
a few lines up
and i was like
"there it is"
it's not my favourite name i've ever used
but it's good enough
which is more than i can say for anything else
