2014's everything will be alright in the end was considered to be the best weezer album in like ten years by just about everyone
this built up a bit of goodwill and people thought maybe the band would be respectable again
egg on their face i guess

jacked up starts off like "this is okay" then rivers hits his falsetto and now i'm searching for a cyanide capsule

endless bummer has an apt name

the last shadow puppets are a supergroup with
ARCTIC MONKEYS GUY
and
THE RASCALS GUY
their last (and until now only) album was eight years ago

the first album was good
this one is not

basically arctic monkeys guy used up the last of his ability to make good music with are you mine
and now he's going to suck forever

i was legitimately looking forward to this one too

as i was reviewing guitar hero games, bad brains stood out to me for two reasons:

1. i never thought i'd see an all-black punk rock band
2. i never thought that they wouldn't be horrible
i mean yellow would probably hate them but still

the only song i knew here beforehand was sailin' on, but only because stone sour covered it


every song that exceeds 2:30, excepting supertouch, is shameless filler
long-ass reggae instrumentals?! don't mind if i DON'T
the last song is called intro

i was into get it together until the vocals
they are a cacophony of voices that do not go together well
women screaming at the top of their lungs
holy shit just make it stop

I've tried listening to Bad Brains before, especially when I read one review of them as "Psychedelic Punk". Truly, I am not a fan.

Also, the song The World Is A Ghetto is the jam of a lifetime. rest of the album is pretty bland, especially Cisco Kid. Can't believe that was a rather successful single, and it shows up on all of my funk pandora stations

the only jamming i need in my life is deep & those crazy purples
after hearing their exotic jams all other jams seem boring as fuck

the rest of the album is mediocre as fuck anyway who even gives a fuck

he even namedrops fucking trayvon martin
1. trayvon was not killed by a cop
2. zimmerman only killed trayvon because otherwise he'd be the dead one
imagine this world:
zimmerman doesn't pull out his gun
trayvon murders zimmerman as he intended to
you never once hear about this story because black people killing white people doesn't fit the media's narrative

the zimmerman was the last one of these cases i actually looked into, because it's all bullshit
