now that i'm 23, i just want my posts to be judged based on their content, not my over-inflated ego

when i was 13, i said a bunch of shit that was regurgitating what i'd read previously, generally fucking it up and making myself look like an idiot
now that i'm 23, i fact-check before i say anything if i'm not 100% sure (and sometimes even if i am)

when i was 13, i thought the key to getting people to think you're funny + cool was to just imitate someone who already was
now that i'm 23, i realise that i will never be cool and i am okay with that (funny is up for debate)
