Today, Capcom released the new OBJECTION SOUNDS
Objection!

SHAME THEY'RE SHIT
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the sound clips:

The original clips weren't done by professional voice actors, and the new ones are. That's great, except that the originals fit the characters so much better than the new ones.
Phoenix Wright is an up-and-coming lawyer who, despite winning (nearly) every trial he takes, is constantly shit on by witnesses, prosecutors, the judge, detectives, his barely-legal assistants, his underage assistants, everybody. His original objection conveys that nervous energy. He knows he's (w)right, but will everyone else?
His new objection kind of makes sense. He's eight years older, and supposedly more confident. It's the ONLY one that gets a pass.
Miles Edgeworth is a famous prosecutor known for his flawless logic and impressive win record. His original objection conveys a confidence, and has a slight British-sounding accent. That works well with his appearance and upbringing.
His new objection sounds... demonic? It sounds like goddamn Manfred von Karma. I get it. Manfred was his mentor, but Edgeworth turned out nothing like him. Giving him the same demonic tone makes NO sense.
Apollo Justice is an up-and-coming lawyer who, despite winning every trial he takes, is constantly shit on by witnesses, prosecutors, the judge, detectives, his barely-legal assistants, his underage assistants, everybody. He also does vocal training to strengthen his "chords of steel", and is chastised by the judge and Klavier for yelling too loudly. His original objection is basically just an uncontrolled yell.
His new objection is far more controlled and quiet, which makes no sense, since only a year has passed. He's still young and foolish, and has lost one of his few character traits, since his character development in his own game was practically nonexistent.
Klavier Gavin is a world-famous rock star/prosecutor who is calm, cool, and a ladies man. His goal has never been to win, but to find out the truth, even aiding Apollo when the game wouldn't let the player do anything for himself. His original objection conveys a sense of self-satisfaction, but in a friendly way.
His new objection sounds like a young punk. Like someone you want to punch right in the goddamn face. It doesn't go at all with his overly friendly smile and sweet-ass air guitar. His is the absolute worst and makes no sense at all.
