the first two are re-recordings of older songs, a la Welcome to Paradise
the third is a cover of a song from the 60s that was also covered by Aerosmith on their debut album, Walkin' the Dog

the rerecording of Christie Road seems pretty lifeless
the cover of Walkin' the Dog has no life in it whatsoever
so basically there's a reason we're not hearing these until 30 years later

cash and cobain sounds like an awful song when you read the title
it's worse than it sounds on paper because it's one of those songs where they reference a bunch of actually good songs

in my first review, i called the opening track "empty", which i still sort of agree with, but i don't mind it
no idea why i rated this so low
it's great
i'd probably have shuffled the track listing a tiny bit and opened with mother, but that's just nitpicking

the gang vocals don't work when the overall pitch is higher
it no longer sounds cool, it sounds bad

huge disappointment
if my RYM page ends up with a third 0.5 rating in a row, people will start to think i'm depressed
i wasn't before these bad albums
