the album version only gets a "terrific" because of that godawful guitar solo
radio edit for life

this album is better than i'd remembered; score raised from 3/5 to 4/5

worst hendrix song don't @ me

shoo bop is a cover of steve miller's shu ba da du ma ma ma ma, which is a GREAT song
DLR's doesn't work well

he also covered tomorrow never knows
a song i don't like that he does worse than the original, just like if 6 was 9

there's a rerecording of ice cream man
it's fine

this album must have been very convenient in the vinyl era; they put all the bad songs on side 2 so you don't ever have to bother

the lord did prefer the riffs of abel to those of cain, for they simply rocked harder
abel's guitar solos tore the house down while cain just noodled away pointlessly
it was all over when abel played the secret chord and the lord couldn't help but throw up the horns
cain claimed all along that he never really cared for music
cain was thus the first in the history of man to ever become butthurt

there's a cover of highway star here
i wish there wasn't
