| 26 Nov 2018: Ronnie Dio and the Prophets/"Dio at Domino's" (1963) http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2018/11/ordering-pizza.html
an early '60s pop album with none other than the king of metal, ronnie james dio, on vocals everyone has to start somewhere
i actually really like it but i'm not sure if it's a legitimate like or as a novelty this is kind of like that ken album where i can't bring myself to give it anything other than a perfect score |

i'm always a bit skeptical of these solo albums by singers released while they're still in a band why were these songs not iron maiden songs were they not good enough or were they like acid jazz
begins with a pretentious filler intro track the rest of the album is okay |

| 29 Nov 2018: Beast in Black/"Berserker" (2017) http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2018/11/sir-berker.html
the opening track's opening drumbeat reminds me of the opening of over the mountain opening
the first track is basically what judas priest would be like if they did power metal the second track is basically what rick springfield would be like if he did power metal the seventh track is basically what new kids on the block would be like if they did power metal
so basically this band is what you'd get if you threw AOR and power metal into a blender so basically this is my favourite band |

the second track pussyfoots around the word "shit" i hate that shit (they could be pussyfooting around "fuck" instead, and in that case my reply is "i hate that fuck") |

| 01 Dec 2018: The Beatles/"Let it Be" (1970) [revisited] http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2018/12/let-it-be-revisited.html
their final album don't really know what i'm going to do for the first of each month next year (i have an idea though)
two of us is an interesting choice for the opener (i would have gone with i've got a feeling) it's a nice song but it doesn't really scream opener to me
dig a pony exists (rock band basically gave it a reason to) across the universe sucks
i me mine has a nice guitar part but the chorus is godawful george's voice works really well for the verses but goddamn what even are those choruses
the title track is a classic etc. etc. i'm kind of numb to it
i've got a feeling is the best song on the album they should have just recorded it twelve times and made an album of it
the one after 909 is a fun break song the long and winding road is better with the string section than without for you blue exists
i hate the let it be version of get back the single/past masters version is so much better |

| 02 Dec 2018: The Reverend Horton Heat/"Whole New Life" (2018) http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2018/12/cock-fight.html
the reverend has gotten old and it has affected his voice these songs would be better if they were recorded twenty years ago |

| 13 Dec 2018: LCD Soundsystem/"LCD Soundsystem" (2005) http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2018/12/its-all-about-led-now.html
i'm only doing the first disc because the second disc spells the word "your" without the vowels and there is nothing i hate more than that
the second track is godawful once they start singing together, it becomes the absolute worst i can't call them "harmonies" because their voices are certainly not in harmony with eachother
the electronic noises on track three are really annoying disco infiltrator is really familiar; like i've heard it in a videogame before |

THIS is how you do hidden tracks make one track blank instead of just having a huge gap mid-track |
