the cover of nick nack paddiwack is a 10/10

let's be real for a moment:
it's a real shame that valens died before being able to release a proper album
this second posthumous album shows that he could have been truly great if he'd had time to develop musically and release final versions of his tracks

it's a covers album

instrumental N.I.B. is only a minute-and-a-half long
i like that it didn't overstay its welcome

my generation cannot be performed without the stuttering
i refuse to acknowledge this cover further

this is, however, the second-best version of wild thing i've heard, after warren zevon's
i find it hard to believe that a METAL band's version of house of the rising sun is LESS intense than the animals's, letalone muse's

whole lotta love is bad because of the way the guy pronounces "lotta"
summertime blues doesn't work when you make it a glam metal song

born to be wild? i couldn't tell
quinn the eskimo is the best song here but that's probably because i've never heard of it

it's an entertaining listen once but i doubt i'll listen to it again
