all their music is either cheesy beyond words or generic beyond words

this album isn't cheesy like their 80s material
it's just bland and uninteresting

2009's merriweather post pavilion, which was VERY GOOD
2012's centipede hz, which was MEDIOCRE

painting with begins with a very annoying track
great start boys

hocus pocus would be a good song if not for the ends of certain lines where they go into slow motion
it's hard to explain but REST ASSURED it sucks

the parking lot the parking lot is way too hot
this damn song this damn song is way too shit
if i hear the line 'the parking lot the parking lot' ONE MORE FUCKING TIME I SWEAR TO GOD



oddly
this album opens with its three worst tracks
then it gets a lot better
who even does that

the guitar parts of his songs are way too high-pitched and annoying

the forgotten part one has this weird piano part that doesn't really have a melody
it's like someone badly edited it together

you can tell rivers's song was written by him
it sounds exactly like something that would have been on the white album
mediocre as fuck

i really like the the title track
the piano riff is just so nice

claw hammer, in concept and execution, is "i ran out of ideas" the song
blue wonderful really could have been a satire of cheesy love songs, but i think elton is serious here

the album starts off really well but gives up after two tracks
