with garchomp added to the mega list, does this mean they're just taking Pokémon people think are "epic" or "badass" and making them even more marketable? does this mean tyranitar and metagross are next? if they don't give weeabooman a mega, I QUIT.

also, second stage starters are the least important and almost always suck anyway. 3rd evolution will be the deciding factor (as always)

Good second-stage starters? Ivysaur, Bayleef, Quilava, Sceptile, Marshtomp, Grotle, and Monferno. Monferno, Sceptile, and Bayleef are cooler than their third stages.

As far as MEGA men go, I've got a feeling (oh yeah) that we'll get all the starters (including Pikachu), all the pseudo-legendaries, and then shit like Marill, Onix, and Snorlax. And Sableye will have one, since Mawile does.

i will say bayleef and sceptile are probably the only 2nd stage starters that are cool (maybe charmeleon, depends on the day)

but even then, they stay in that form for such a short time it's almost pointless.

and I understand starters and legendaries/pseudo-legendaries, but ampharos and altaria confuse me. gives me the impression they threw a bunch of Pokémon in a hat and drew at random

or they're using fan-made evolutions

Maybe they just want to give some pure-type Pokémon a boost. And Altaria? Altaria doesn't have a MEGA.

Remember sword man? He evolves into TWO SWORDS. I'm not amused. They could have made him a lot cooler than just "MAKE HIM DOUBLE". It's fucking Gigear all over again.

i like the lion guy Generation VI - Page 2 828944
i enjoy both fossil evos, and i'm glad that they went in the brontosaurus direction to an extent. we really only had tropius before that. T Rex is kind of overdone seeing how most dragons have some similar aesthetics to t rexes (rexi?)

Remember how Mewtwo has two MEGA forms, and the one you get depends on your version? And MEGA Mewtwo X was objectively superior?
IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN
MEGA CHARIZARD X is FIRE/DRAGON and is FUCKING SWEET DOG

In other news:
Puff-ass ball evolves into retarded little sister.
Medicine man bird evolves into runway model.

LEAKS EVERYWHERE
Final grass man is grass/fighting. I... have no fucking clue what he is.
Foxy lady is fire/psychic. Really not a fan.
Frog dude is water/dark. OBJECTIVELY the best of the three, but cursed by being in the same generation as GOAT water Pokémon, Clauncher.

What is this
It evolves into what is this
Seriously what is it
I have no fucking clue
It doesn't resemble a thing

Then there's Whiteslug, performing their biggest hit, Here I Go Again.
Then there's fairy guy with flower.
Then there's pumpkin... bat... thing.
Then there's chibi guy.
Then there's bird man.
Then there's Linoone.
Then there's actually pretty cool bunny guy.
Then there's some kind of berry.
Then there's Ditto.
Then there's bird.
Then there's stump ghost.
Then there's a chunk of ice.

Let's not forget MEGA Pokémon!
MEGA Gengar
MEGA Obamasnow
MEGA Aerodactyl
MEGA Gyarados

You know, ice cream man didn't get me. Gear didn't get me.
But, keys. Fucking keys.

i like that they're trying to branch out with different starter types, but it could have been better executed...
regardless, this is the best set of starters since RSE imo

I would totally use Fairy with Flower and Keys as long as keys isn't just some lame novelty Pokémon

and MEGA gyrados Generation VI - Page 2 776782
they could have done so much with him, and they did THAT

The starters are much better than Gen V. I've never understood why it had pure-type starters and FIRE/FIGHTING
Gen III and IV had three interesting starters with cool type combinations. Sceptile may have been pure grass, but he was cool enough to work.
Pure grass (or grass/poison) is pretty bad, since you can always get a grass man early on. Pure water is completely retarded, since it's the most common type. I hope there's a MEGA Blastoise X that's water/steel or something.
Fire/fighting was great the first time, and fine the second, because the physical/special split let them do new and interesting things. There was no excuse for three of them.

IT'S JUST REALLY A SHAME THAT TWO OF THE NEW STARTERS LOOK LIKE COMPLETE ASS

So, CoroCoro scans. Most of these are just confirming leaks, but there are NEW DEVELOPMENTS

First, confirming leaks:
Frog ninja
Foxy lady
Juggernut
MEGA Kangaskhan and MEGA Gengar

As a side note, one of the genders for Juggernut has a brown shell and green helmet area. It looks much better, honestly.

Now, for something NEW
MEGA Tyranitar and MEGA Aggron
MEGA Aggron is a pure Steel-type for some reason.

Aron/Lairon/Aggron are exclusive to Pokémon X, but the MEGA stone for Aggron is only in Pokémon Y.
Larvitar/Pupitar/Tyranitar are exclusive to Pokémon Y, but the MEGA stone for Tyranitar is only in Pokémon X.

Now, this region's butterfly is really cool. I take back what I said. Its colour changes depending on the region set on your 3DS.
It also recognises Maine and Canada as the same place.

honestly, the amount of MEGAs is getting pretty ridiculous.

I like MEGA Houndoom and MEGA Alakazam a lot, honestly. Shame you can apparently only have one MEGA on your team at once.

I don't think it's so much that Ohio and Maine get their own colours as it is that region of the US. New England probably shares a colour, and Ohio/Michigan/Illinois/Indiana likely share, as well.

Here's an updated version of the butter-ass fly picture.

So, here's a semi-, maybe, kind of right list of all the Pokémon who have adopted the new fairy type.

Cleffa (Fairy)
Clefairy (Fairy)
Clefable (Fairy)

Igglybuff (Normal/Fairy)
Jigglypuff (Normal/Fairy)
Wigglytuff (Normal/Fairy)

Mime Jr. (Psychic/Fairy)
Mr. Mime (Psychic/Fairy)

Togepi (Fairy)
Togetic (Fairy/Flying)
Togekiss (Fairy/Flying)

Azurill (Normal/Fairy)
Marill (Water/Fairy)
Azumarill (Water/Fairy)

Snubbull (Fairy)
Granbull (Fairy)

Ralts (Psychic/Fairy)
Kirlia (Psychic/Fairy)
Gardevoir (Psychic/Fairy)

Mawile (Steel/Fairy)

Whimsicott (Grass/Fairy)

Arceus now has a Fairy plate, as well.

Then from Gen VI, there's
