1985's Centrefield was bad because Fogerty's voice did not sound like him at all. It sounded pretty shitty.
Something happened between this album and that one, because he sounds normal here.

Bookended by the best tracks, which is always nice.

The album ends much more strongly than it began, which is good, since the beginning was a bit disappointing.

it's abba time motherfucker

This album begins with what might just be ABBA's best song, Mama Mia.
If you listen to the version with two bonus tracks, the album is bookended by its best songs.

Overall, much better than Arrival, which is nice.

silversun pickups are a very good band (not exactly great though)
shame their 2015 album was fucking terrible (by comparison)
2015 was a shitty year for music

This was The Who's first album after Keith Moon's death.
It's an improvement over Who are You, and actually one of the band's better albums. Shame that's not saying much.

I can definitely see why these tracks weren't on a proper album. They're very different than their usual output.
The title track relies a lot on vocal harmonies, and actually sounds pretty nice.
The second track is very nearly a country song, and it's okay.
The third and final track is a joke track. The weird "wooooooowwooooooooooowoooooooo" shit is pretty annoying.

The backing vocals are less out of place than before, on both the three originals and nine covers.
His cover of Hey, Good Lookin' is just strange, though. I'm so used to hearing the original, I guess.
