mass effect 3d

Today, the Mass Effect 3 demo happened.
The main question is "is it good". The answer is... it depends. It's seems to be a pretty good game. The shooting is, for better or worse, directly ripped from ME2. The characters all have their original voices. Shepard is... Shepard.
But it still doesn't feel like a Mass Effect game. The running is odd. There are big setpiece explosions and action game contrivances.
The opening scene basically says this happened between ME2 and ME3:
"hey shepard good job doing nothing in me2 TIME FOR A VACATION" "FUCK YES I LOVE VACATIONS"
Also, Kaidan and Anderson are back, as well as Seth Green.

BUT
The second part of the demo stars such old favourites as:
Commander Shepard!
Wrex!
Liara!
Garrus!
Mordin!
Captain Kirrahe!
Cortez!

Also, Cerberus hates us now.

As always, the characters are great. The story so far seems like ME2. That is to say, retarded.

I'll probably end up getting this game.
... when it goes on sale.

First half

Pretty nice was great to see Kaidan all grown up oh and Anderson what a guy wish they'd given us more time to get into a false sense of security before the explosions and shit I'm glad Anderson didn't die the actiony stuff was cool

you are guaranteed to shed a single tear or almost shed one at the last scene here (clint mansell is a genius)

Second half

Wrex/Garrus banter!! I missed it

and Kirrahe!!! hold the line

so this combat was quite nice and Wrex was being pretty funny as usual what I like about the new combat is you have to move around and flank a lot cause the enemies move more and you have to get closer to lock onto them than in ME2, feels a bit weird but I am sure I will get used to it
