29 Aug 2012: "English Settlement" by XTC Starting off with obvious filler is a great idea guys seriously The guy's voice is annoying and the songs are boring. Remind me why I decided to get recommendations from RYM users again Fly on the Wall is painful. It hurts my ears. BAD ALBUM END

BONUS REVIEW: "Stone Temple Pilots" by Stone Temple Pilots http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/give-me-diamonds-by-gots.html Never heard anything on this before today. I really like it. It's a lot different than what I'd expected, while still sounding like a Stone Temple Pilots album.

31 Aug 2012: "Tin Machine" by Tin Machine Imagine David Bowie doing a rock album. Then imagine that rock album being average as fuck. And now imagine David Bowie ruining Working-Class Hero. That's what this is.

BONUS REVIEW: "Back to the Light" by Brian May http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/only-by.html The title track is everything that is wrong with music. The rock songs are great, though. All three of them.

01 Sep 2012: "Souvenir of Their Visit to America" by The Beatles The title features a word I couldn't spell if I tried. America's first EP by these guys you've never heard of is all album tracks from Please Please Me. One is pretty good. The other three are mediocre at best. Please Please Me is The Beatles' most unremarkable album, and this EP features its most unremarkable tracks. 10/10

BONUS REVIEW: "Awesome as FUCK" by Green Day http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/wheely-dealy-healyglobbers-by-men-of.html After that last thing, I need something easy to digest. This album came out after 21st Century Breakdown, so it has five songs from that, but that means that twelve songs aren't from that. The main draw is, of course, Cigarettes and Valentines, which isn't available anywhere else. Plus, American Idiot has a cool guitar solo. Also, why would you call your album "Awesome as FUCK" if you're going to censor "fuck"? I mean, fuck. On an unrelated note, I stared at the word "fuck" for a bit, and now it doesn't look right. Fuck.

http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2012/08/not-having-internet-sucks-guys-by-frog.html REALLY LONG SONGS WITH LOADS OF CHANGES WILL NEVER LISTEN TO THE TITLE TRACK AGAIN And You and I and that other one are cool, though. If you dislike the title track, then man, are you going to haaaaaaate Tales from Topographic Oceans. |

03 Sep 2012: "Brave New World" by Iron Maiden I've been looking forward to this since Fear of the Dark. This album starts with The Wicker Man, which is pretty sweet. It's like, after the utter disappointment of the Blaze albums, they decided to roar out of the gate, as if to say "we're back, motherfuckers". Actually, the whole album's like that. From the cover art to the music inside. Their best album since Seventh Son.

BONUS REVIEW: "Slaves and Masters" by Deep Purple http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/mummy-by-guys.html The final not-Gillan Deep Purple album, and the only one featuring Joe Lynn Turner. Overall, not as good as anything Coverdale did, but better than anything Evans did.

BONUS REVIEW: "United Abominations" by Megadeth http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/imagine-by-rain-not-killing-us-all.html Oh boy. This album is okay as fuck. The bonus cover of Out on the Tiles is pretty funny, though.

05 Sep 2012: "Technical Ecstasy" by Black Sabbath It's Alright is about the last thing you'd expect from a Black Sabbath song. Ozzy doesn't even sing on it. Bill Ward does an okay job, though. Other than that, pretty okay and what you'd expect.

| BONUS REVIEW: "Pendulum" by Creedence Clearwater Revival http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/balls-in-my-hamper-by-guys.html Disappointing, but still pretty good, I guess. Better than Willy and the Poor Boys. Because fuck Willy and the Poor Boys.
On an unrelated note, why is "pendulum" pronounced "pen-juh-lum"? THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS HORRIBLE AND I HATE IT |

BONUS REVIEW: "Reload" by Metallica http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/march-of-by.html I don't understand how this album can be so much better than Load when it's just Load's leftovers. Despite that, though, it's still rather awful. Fuel is pretty okay, though. I know how this is all going to turn out, so.

BONUS REVIEW: "Make Yourself" by Incubus http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/wallet-fifty-seven-by-man-of-many.html I have to get this out of the way: The original version of Stellar is way better than the Guitar Hero I: The Region-Specific Stone cover. I don't like it when Incubus guy raps. He's not very good at it. Overall, this album is pretty okay. Nothing too special.

BONUS REVIEW: "Blowin' Your Mind" by Van Morrison http://musiccouldbebetter.blogspot.com/2011/03/give-me-diamonds-guys-by-frog.html Colloquially, "that one with Brown-Eyed Girl". The second half is so much better than the first, if you forgive Midnight Special. If the first half didn't have Brown-Eyed Girl, it would be fucking nothing.
