| You head to the Los Sepulcros graveyard and meet CJ standing at a trio of graves, a single tear streaming down his face. The one on the right belongs to Brian Johnson, his little brother. The middle grave belongs to Beverly Johnson, his mother. The leftmost grave belongs to CJ's older brother, Sweet. CJ turns away from the headstones and walks off. A few missions later, you head to Grove Street to see a sad CJ sitting on his porch in the rain, drinking and suchlike. I Love a Rainy Night is blasting on the stereo next to him. For some reason, you can't stand to see him like this. You take him to the Santa Maria beach and dance to Hollywood Swingin'. He thanks you and gives you his number, then spawns a Hydra and blasts off. The final mission of the game has you in a standoff against the antagonist. CJ bursts in and takes him out, but gets hit by a sniper. You rush over to CJ's side and carry him to the car. You start the car and Movin' on Up starts playing. You start to head for the hospital, but CJ tells you he won't make it, and he wants to see Grove Street one last time to die where his mother and brothers died. You take him to Grove Street, and carry him into his house. CJ thanks you and says his last words: "Grove Street for life". The game ends with the protagonist standing in front of four graves, a single tear streaming down his face. The one on the right belongs to Brian Johnson, his little brother. The middle-right grave belongs to Beverly Johnson, his mother. The middle-left grave belongs to CJ's older brother, Sweet. The grave on the far left belongs to Carl Johnson. The inscription reads: R.I.P. Carl Johnson 1968 - 2012 "All we had to do was follow the damn train" |
