over the past year, these are my observations about myself and what I like

My favorite Beatles' album has changed from Magical Mystery Tour to Abbey Road
I finally understand why people prefer the beatles' mono mixes

My favorite David Bowie album has changed from Ziggy Stardust to Station to Station and now it is The Man Who Sold The World

my favorite the doors' album has not changed, The Soft Parade.

I used to like the beach boys, but I really dislike them now.

It took some time, but I can now tolerate Neil Yong's voice. for the most part.
My favorite album of his is Harvest.

I still can't stand lyrically based groups that use basically only acoustic guitars. 'indie' whatever. cannot stand them.
also pretty much any modern heavy group as well.
I do enjoy boris though, and I wish i understood why.

Here is a recent history of my assrapes since september in chronological order starting from the earliest: Gong, Soft Machine, various italian groups, Miles Davis, Can, John Coltrane, and now folk artists from the 60s.

I can finally tell the difference between various jazz genres. My favorite jazz genre used to be big band but now it is Modal jazz with like four person groups. i have a soft place for cool jazz though.
