Writing a period piece seemed like a great idea to fix the "out of ideas" problem
Rather than trying to beat the same dead horse again, let's dress that horse up in a hat and boots THEN beat it
One idea I abandonned when I started working on it for real was changing all the girls' names so they ended in "-igail" because I got really tired of it
Our hero's horse is a girl horse named Debbie
Amber is only one foot tall in this one, as she was originally
This was totally intended and not something I realised was a mistake just today (24 Jun 2019)
Today (29 Apr 2019), I learned that the magazine was invented in 1663 in Germany
I thought it was invented in the 1920s or 30s by Americans
I introduced a new girl in Mission 036 AND 037
Can't be stopped
The "LaCroix" name was originally Valerie's last name but it didn't fit her at all so I changed it and I'm glad I did (fits Alison way better)
At Mission 039, I realised a grave error I had made but luckily I was able to change every "hello" to "howdy"
This Jakey (the wild west one) does not like Resistance Leadour (the main modern-day one does)
You can tell because our wild west hero never calls her "Ressie"
If Mission 046 were in a modern-day Thing, I'd have also written "haven't you ever seen the lord of the rings?!" but oh well
