Cool:
-They took a page out of HG/SS and have the Pokémon follow you around. it's a gimmick, but I sure love it
-the 3d models of the various kanto locations look pretty great in the trailer. I'm hoping they finally are able to make cities actually look like cities.
-Pokémon Go has Pokémon up to Gen III right now. Maybe they'll take a page out of ORAS and allow you to use the national dex before the E4?

Questions/Concerns:
-Grinding against wild Pokémon is half the Pokémon experience. Are you going to be required to have friends play with you at certain gyms/e4? Does this mean you'll have to take your Pokémon on a "stroll" as a replacement for grinding (a la HGSS's pokewalker)? It only shows Pokémon being moved from Pokémon Go to this new game...but maybe grinding is moving Pokémon to Pokémon Go and doing gyms and stuff IRL?
-Eevee's voice is fucked
-I'm worried about "USE ONE JOY CON!!" being used as a selling point. This is probably the laziest thing I've ever heard

they also wanted to "simplify" levelling up so i imagine you won't ever have to grind, making it like a two-hour game

Also, not sure about this demo, but at 21:58 that the player has all 3 starters in their party. But they also have Pikachu and Eevee, so not sure what's going on

The eevee version is bad. I'm getting the Pikachu one. I don't mind the go mechanics for a spinoff game cause I'm sure we will get gen 8 in 2019. As long as it's better than Sun/Moon I'll be okay. They're the only Pokémon games I haven't finished because I got so bored.

the video also shows that nutblob evolves into MUSCLE nutblob. Why are they bothering to introduce one new Pokémon (with an evolutionary line) into this game? Seems pretty pointless
