PostSubject: Runtime Error are rejoined by Steve Lukather; release new album   Sun Nov 23, 2014 12:44 am

Today, legendary artist Runtime Error shocked the world with a surprise announcement that former guitarist Steve Lukather would be rejoining the band. "It became clear that the band was missing something once I remembered that I can't actually play guitar," recalls founding member Jakey. "Even though Eif can play guitar (or so he says), we felt that his panjo-playing was more of an asset to our group." "The panjo really is the cornerstone of our sound in the tens," adds founding member Eif.

The band calls their new album "more politically-charged" than their previous efforts, while still retaining their trademark progressive dreamfunk sound. "Last year, we debuted a working version of 'Kill All the Jews' in Israel," says founding member Bran. "I think it went over really well." "One of the songs is a hold-over from when Ernie Isley was a member of the band," recalls Eif. "Despite his personal choices, the man was a great musician and songwriter." "We also managed to get [our old bandmate] Svart to take time from his busy schedule of begging for change or whatever to help us out on the album," adds Jakey. "I wouldn't blame you if you skipped his tracks, though."
